Being financially responsible is a skill learned over time. To help with that, we have helpful articles on a wide range of financial topics available through our newsletter and our financial resources center. Additionally, these accounts are not eligible for overdraft services or overdraft privilege - if the funds are not available the transaction will be declined. They also require a joint account holder over the age of 18, like a parent or legal guardian.
Once a Student First Checking account holder turns 19, the account will transition to our Standard Checking unless they qualify for another one of our checking accounts.
