First South Financial FCU is equally committed to protecting consumers’ privacy and you can be confident that financial privacy is a priority. This Online Privacy Statement applies to First South Financial Credit Union's webpages, FSFFCU-branded social media sites, mobile applications, digital banking applications, and digital advertising campaigns, collectively referred to as a “digital property.”
The terms “First South Financial,” "First South", "FSFFCU", “we,” “our,” or “us” refers to First South Financial Federal Credit Union and any affiliates or subsidiaries.
Information We Collect About You
When you visit our digital property, you may be asked to provide information about you that is personally identifiable (“Personal Information”). This may include:

- A driver’s license; and

When you use the links on our Site or Mobile App to visit a third-party website, you will be subject to that website’s privacy and security policies, which may differ from ours. Sharing Your Information
We disclose personal information with our affiliates and service providers only as permitted by law in connection with the administration, processing or servicing of accounts, our Site and Mobile App. We will also share personal information with third parties to comply with legal requirements such as subpoenas, court orders or other legal processes.
Mobile Banking App Location Information
Our websites and our Mobile Banking app periodically collect, transmit, and use geolocation information to support features such as determining your zip code, finding your nearest Branch or ATM and preventing fraudulent card use, but only if you authorize collection of such information.
On our websites, you can choose whether geolocation information can be monitored by clicking the “Allow” button when prompted. Using our Mobile Banking app, you may choose whether geolocation information can be followed on a continuous basis in the background, only while the app is being used, or not at all. You can change your location permissions at any time in your device settings.
Mobile App Push Notifications & Location Services
Push notifications will only be eligible for members with the First South Financial FCU Mobile app installed on their device, and have notifications turned on in their device settings.
What are Push notifications?
First South Financial FCU is now offering push notifications! Push notifications are messages sent directly to your mobile device. First South Financial members will receive limited-time offers, update on new and convenient mobile app features, and more! Push notifications will also be used to alert members if inclement weather or other issues are impacting our branch network or call center. App users can turn on or turn off push notifications at any time using their device settings (outside of the First South Financial app). If you don't have the First South Financial mobile app, you can download it for free from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Protecting Your Information, Confidentiality and Security
We are committed to protecting your personal information. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal and state standards to guard your personal information. We maintain strict oversight of our third-party service providers to ensure confidential information remains private and secure.
Making Sure Your Information is Accurate
If you are a registered Digital Banking user, you may review and maintain your information by logging in to Digital Banking and selecting the “My Profile” tab. You can also request and/or update your information by calling us at (901) 380-7400, by writing to us at First South Financial, 6471 Stage Road, Bartlett, TN 38134, or by visiting your local First South Financial banking center.
Children's Online Privacy Protection Act Disclosure
The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (“COPPA”) restricts the collection, use or disclosure of personal information from and about children under the age of 13 on the internet. We are committed to protecting the online privacy of the children who visit our Site and Mobile App.
In general, our Site and Mobile App are not directed to children under the age of 13 and we request that children under the age of 13 not provide personal information through these channels. We may, however, elect to provide contest information online for our youth Members, which includes children under the age of 13. Youth Members who identify themselves to be under the age of 13 will not be permitted to submit any personal information online.
We may collect information on domain names, dates and times of visits, and number of page views. This information contains no personal information and will only be used to continue to improve the overall value of our Site. We do not knowingly collect, use or disclose personal information from children under 13 online without prior parental consent. Updates to This Policy
This Policy is subject to change at any time. Please review it periodically. We will revise the “Effective Date” stated at the top of this Policy at the time any material changes to the Policy are made.
